The fugitive from Justice Paulo Cupertino Matias, accused of murdering actor Rafael Miguel and his parents in 2019, passed through at least seven counties after committing the crime. The last city the police know Cupertino was in is Eldorado, in Mato Grosso do Sul, where he worked on a farm. The information is from G1.
According to the investigations, until October 27 the fugitive worked in a corral, where he took care of the cattle of a besieger. He would have spent between 8 and 15 months in the region. In that city, Cupertino used a false identification with the name ‘Manoel Machado da Silva’. Also, he sported a long white beard and a cap as costumes.
According to a G1 survey, after the crime, Cupertino passed through at least four cities in São Paulo: Sorocaba, Águas de São Pedro, another unreported city, and Campinas. Then he went to Ponta Porã, in Mato Grosso do Sul, and Jataizinho, in Paraná.
So far, the fugitive has not been located. The São Paulo Civil Police suspect that the murderer may have fled on a plane when he learned that they were looking for him in Eldorado. According to the city police station, the owner of the site, who would be a pilot, would have fled with him and is also wanted.
