A 55-year-old driver spotted an anaconda approximately 8 meters long on a road in the Bela Alvorada district of Paraíso das Águas, 278 km from Campo Grande, capital of Mato Grosso do Sul. The images were published this Friday (6) and show the animal on the side of the road.
Ademir dos Santos Domingues is the conductor in charge of the filming. He caught the animal on his return from rural properties and had just brought printed school activities to students not attending school due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
To G1, Ademir spoke about the encounter with the animal. “I was already returning to the city when I saw a large trail. I got closer and met this great animal, ”he said.
The driver still reveals that, even with fear, he decided to get off and approach the animal, he stayed about 3 meters to register: “At that time, I did not even remember that I could give a boat. She was quiet and only noticed that they were watching her. “
Still in G1, Ademir reveals what tactic he used to save the animal from being a possible hit-and-run victim. “I ended up throwing dirt to prevent him from staying in place yet there is no risk of him attacking someone. I’m glad it moved and disappeared into the forest, ”he said.
