The farm where he was staying is in Colniza (MT), adjacent to Rondônia. “He is fine, but very malnourished. He said he spent all these days walking through the woods and survived by eating what he found. Until he found this farm where he asked for help and received food and water, ”said Oseias de Souza, a friend of the singer.
According to Oseias, Matheus was taking classes to become an airplane pilot when the teacher asked him and another student to fly alone. It was there that the aircraft crashed and had to make a forced landing in a forest area. Fábio Souza, the other student who traveled with Matheus, was found and is doing well.
