A man was arrested after reacting to an assault on Wednesday morning (28), in Curitiba, and ending up killing one of the assailants. The information is from G1.
In the images, recorded by a security camera, three people, two men and a woman, can be seen next to a car, when they are approached by two men who try to steal the vehicle.
Upon entering the car, one of the men who had been hiding behind a pole begins shooting at the assailants, who run out of the car while the man shoots. According to the Civil Police, one of the assailants also fired.
One of the suspects was shot and died on the spot. The other man managed to escape, according to investigations.
According to the Civil Police, the man who shot was transferred to the police station and must answer for illegal possession of a firearm, however, for the police he acted in self-defense. After his arrest, the man became ill and was taken to hospital.
