Operation Calvary finds a cell phone hidden in a flowerpot and the target says he was praying | Paraíba

The scene, witnessed by agents of the Federal Police and prosecutors from the Federal Public Ministry, provoked an even more unusual justification: the target of the court order declared that he was praying near the place. TV Globo had access to the flagrant images (see in the video above).

On Tuesday’s stage, the PF and the MPF were looking for evidence of money laundering crimes that had been committed by the dismissed advisor of the Court of Accounts of the State of Paraíba Arthur Paredes Cunha Lima and by people linked to one of the social organizations they would have received a bribe from the vendors.

It was at the home of the counselor’s former advisers – Sergio Ricardo de Ribeiro Gama and his son, Sérgio Ricardo de Ribeiro Gama Filho, both investigated – where the investigators found the cell phone.

In the sequence, Gama Filho wonders if he can take it. He’s authorized, shows where the cell phone was and says he wouldn’t deny it.

The agents ask if there are other things hidden. He says he doesn’t and justifies it, saying he was praying on the spot.

According to the investigations, Sergio Ricardo Ribeiro Gama and Sergio Ricardo Ribeiro Gama Filho occupied the position of chief of staff of Arthur Cunha Lima in the Court of Accounts of Paraíba.

Investigators claim to have gathered elements that point to economic movements between the investigated, the counselor and his son, Arthur Cunha Lima Filho.
