The governor of São Paulo, João Doria (PSDB), and the presenter José Luiz Datena, from TV Band, discussed live this Thursday (22) about the measures against Covid-19 adopted by the São Paulo government and the fight between Doria and President Jair Bolsonaro on Coronavac, the vaccine against the disease developed by the Chinese laboratory Sinovac in partnership with the Butantan Institute.
Datena – “Governor, if the worst is over, why are you in such a rush to buy the vaccine?”
Doria – “You are not a doctor!”

In the interview, Datena questioned why the governor said that “the worst [da pandemia] it’s over ”and I’m still fighting a lot for the vaccine.
“Datena, I repeat again: there are 20 specialist doctors [do Centro de Contingência do Coronavírus estadual] Whoever takes care of her is not my determination and it will not be yours, with all the respect you deserve, but you keep insisting on it, you are not a doctor, you are not an infectious disease, you are not a specialist. That is why I follow the instructions of the doctors ”, replied João Doria.
“Even you are not a doctor, how many people died in São Paulo? 111 people died in São Paulo [nas últimas 24h]. It is almost half of all France, almost all of Spain, and there the boys are closing everything and here we are in the yellow phase ”, replied Datena.
According to data from Johns Hopkins University, on Wednesday France registered 147 deaths from Covid-19. Spain registered 156 fatalities from the disease. According to the gradual reopening plan, São Paulo has cities in the yellow phase and also in the green phase, such as the capital.
