According to the description of the PF report contained in the Supreme Minister’s decision, “when making the personal search of Senator Chico Rodrigues, at first, bundles of money were found inside his underwear, near his buttocks, amounting to R $ 15 thousand ”.
These figures were presented to the secretary of the PF on the spot, and Chief Wedson asked Chico Rodrigues if he was hiding more amounts in kind.
“When asked for the third time”, according to the PF report, “with great anger, Senator Chico Rodrigues reached into his underwear and pulled out other bundles of money, which totaled R $ 17,900. Thus, considering that the senator insistently hid values in his underwear, this police team made a new personal search, at which time the amount of R $ 250 was found in his underwear ”.
According to the PF report contained in Minister Barroso’s document, “the values were placed by the senator in his underwear between the moment the team left his room and began to search his son’s room, so that he would have asked to change clothes in his room to get rid of the values that he had just hidden in his clothes ”, but before he was captured by the police team.
The description of the PF report ends by pointing out the shameful situation in which the seizure was carried out: “even after hearing the search and seizure order issued by the Supreme Federal Court, during due diligence, Senator Chico Rodrigues was able to momentarily hiding values that would come or be equivalent to the criminal acts that are being investigated now, in addition to causing shame to the criminal investigation underway before that Supreme Court.
In total, R $ 33,150 were seized in the possession of Senator Chico Rodrigues in his private parts. The report also contains low-quality images of the moment the money was found in the senator’s underwear.
