A woman was beaten to death by her fiancé during their wedding party in Prokudskoye, Russia. According to authorities, 33-year-old Stepan Dolgikh had a fit of jealousy and was arrested on the spot after killing 36-year-old Oksana Poludentseva. The information is from the Daily Mail newspaper.
According to police, Oksana met Dolgikh while he was in prison and believed that she could help him change. According to witnesses, the groom was jealous of one of the guests at the party and accused his wife of misbehaving.
“He grabbed her by the hair, beat her, pushed her out into the street, where he also continued to hit her body and head,” chief investigator Kirill Petrushin told the NGS news agency. When he realized that the woman was lifeless, he left her in a nearby ravine.
The guests were afraid to intervene, but the police were called and the groom was arrested. According to the police, Dolgikh already had previous convictions for murder and robbery.
