The victims had been hospitalized for days, but could not withstand the effects of the disease.
The Bauru City Council, through the Department of Collective Health, reported, on Sunday night (4), the confirmation of four more deaths caused by Covid-19 in the municipality, for a total of 206 deaths so far.
The new victims of the disease, according to the city, are a 56-year-old man who would have diabetes, a 65-year-old woman without comorbidities, a 72-year-old man who was also diabetic and a 49-year-old woman with hypertension.
The first mentioned patient had symptoms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on September 21 and the positive result for Covid-19 was released seven days later. He was admitted to a private hospital in the city and the death occurred this Saturday (3).
The 65-year-old woman began experiencing Srag’s symptoms on September 19 and a positive result for the disease was announced on September 28. The patient was admitted to a private hospital in the city and death occurred today (4).
The third mentioned victim, the 72-year-old man, began presenting Srag symptoms on September 20 and the positive result for Covid-19 was discharged on the 29th. The patient was admitted to a public hospital and death also it happened on sunday. (4).
The 49-year-old woman began experiencing Srag’s symptoms on September 3, and a positive result for covid-19 was published on September 12. The patient was admitted to a private hospital in the city and the death occurred today (04).
To date, the city has 11,826 confirmed cases of the disease, with 206 deaths. The latest bulletin also indicates that the municipality has an investigative death on suspicion of the disease.
