The Brazilians will have to wait a little longer for the long-awaited rain. According to the National Meteorological Institute (Inmet), the forecast for this Saturday (19/9) is of high temperatures with the maximum at 35 ° C and without the possibility of precipitation. Relative air humidity can reach 15% in the afternoon.
According to meteorologist Heráclio Alves, the expectation is that the climate will change as of next Monday (9/21). “This weekend the chances of rain in the Federal District are very low. They increase on Tuesday and Wednesday with greater chances of precipitation,” he highlights.
According to Inmet, the first rains will be light. The rainy season should start only in October. This is the eighth driest year in the history of the Federal District, tied with 1991, when the capital registered a 117-day drought.
This Saturday (19/9), the heat started early, in the early hours of the day. The minimum recorded by Inmet was 18 ° C, in Planaltina, and in the Pilot Plane the thermometers marked 20 ° C.
Although the rain does not come to alleviate the drought, health care must be doubled.
These are some of the recommendations:
– Avoid exercising outdoors between 10 am and 4 pm
– Keep hydrated
– Wear light clothing
– Use sunscreen
– Give preference to lighter foods.
– Keep the rooms humidified
