Augusto Aras is with Covid-19, reports the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation | Politics

The agency also said the attorney general “is fine and isolated, dispatching remotely.”

Aras is another official of the Republic who was in possession of the new president of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Luiz Fux, last week, to contract Covid-19. Before him, the examinations confirmed the contagion of Fux himself, the Mayor, Rodrigo Maia (DEM-RJ), the President of the Superior Labor Court (TST), María Cristina Peduzzi, and the ministers of the Superior Court of Justice (Luís Felipe Salomão and Antonio Saldanha Palheiro.

In a note published Thursday, the STF presidency stated that it took security measures during the inauguration of Fux and followed all recommended protocols. She also said that she is “in contact with the guests who were present at the ceremony to alert them to the importance of seeking medical attention, if they have also been exposed in any way to other events outside the STF.”

“The Secretariat of Integrated Health Services (SIS) of the Court is also attentive and at the disposal of public servants to guide them on the eventual performance of tests and procedures to adopt in positive cases,” the STF completed in the note.
