HE Colgio Militar Belo Horizonte, in the Bairro Then Francisco, issued a statement on Wednesday (16) to announce the return of face-to-face classes next Monday (21). The educational institution adopts a strict security protocol for students, teachers and employees, which includes relay classes on predetermined days.

According to the timetable, which provides classes only from Monday to Friday, each class goes to school two days a week on an experimental basis. Classes will include eighth and ninth grade students Fundamental teaching and 1, 2 and 3 of High school. The shipment will be open from 6:30 am to 7 pm

School classes have been suspended since March 18 due to the risk of contagion by the coronavirus.

The board of the educational institution states that it is adopting various health measures to prevent COVID-19. “The school will adopt screening at the entrance and exit, with measurement of body temperature, offer of alcohol gel, frequent sanitation of the facilities, adoption of distance, reduction of the number of students in class and use of masks,” the statement said.

Physical education classes are prohibited, in addition to kissing, hugging, handshaking, or any physical contact within school boundaries. The school recommends that each student bring their own water bottle, which can be refilled from the drinking fountains.

The school reiterates that the presence of students is mandatory, except in cases of risk groups, which must be duly accredited by medical certificate. Others who do not attend the activities will have calculated failure.

In accordance with the instruction, parents or guardians should immediately inform the school if symptoms such as sore throat, fever, loss of taste, or runny nose appear. In that case, the student will be removed immediately.

Wanted, the Municipality of BH, through the Municipal Department of Education, reported that “there is no information on the return to face-to-face classes in the schools of the State educational network,” despite the fact that the Colgio Militar is the responsibility of the Brazilian Army .
