The macro-region of the Northern Triangle enters the red wave – Diário de Uberlândia

The macro-region of the Northern Triangle, in which Uberlândia is inserted by the Conscious Mines program, fell back to the red wave. The decision was made on Tuesday (8) after a meeting held by the Executive Group of the Center for Emergency Operations in Public Health, which took into account the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in the macro-region as one of the determining factors.

The change is effective as of this Saturday (12) and the red wave, the most restricted of all, allows the opening of the following services:

– Supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, cafes, convenience stores;
– Bars (only for delivery or collection at the counter);
– Butchers, fishmongers, fresh products;
– Food sales services;
– Pharmacies, drugstores, cosmetic stores, laundries, pet shop;
– Banks, lottery houses, credit unions;
– Surveillance and private security;
– Repair and maintenance services;
– Computer and communication stores;
– Hotels, motels, campsites, accommodation and pensions;
– Infrastructure and civil construction works;
– Trade of vehicles, spare parts and automotive accessories.

In the macroregion of the Northern Triangle, in addition to Uberlândia, Abadia dos Dourados, Araguari, Araporã, Cachoeira Dourada, Campina Verde, Canápolis, Capinópolis, Cascalho Rico, Centralina, Coromandel, Douradoquara, Estrela do Sul, Grupiara, Gurinhatã, Indianapolis, Ipiauípolis Minas, Ituiutaba, Monte Alegre de Minas, Monte Carmelo, Nova Ponte, Patrocínio, Prata, Romería, Santa Vitória and Tupaciguara.

MICROREGION
The micro-region where Uberlândia is inserted is also in the red wave of the state plan, according to the graphs presented by the state.

According to data from the Government of Minas Gerais, on the 17th, the Araguari / Uberlândia micro-region registered the highest incidence of the disease in Minas Gerais, with 242.8 per 100,000 inhabitants. In the report available on Monday (24), the indicators show a rate of 241.7, which indicates that the region continues to be the one with the greatest contagion.
