On the afternoon of Friday (04), the city of Curitiba announced the return of the orange flag against covid-19. The news came as a “cold water bath” for the citizens of Curitiba, as the city resumed its activities after a long time with more severe restrictions (since August 18, the city returned to the yellow flag).
The number of deaths and new cases of people infected by the new coronavirus has increased considerably in recent days and, following the protocols, the orange flag, with a moderate risk of contagion, needed to be activated and will be active for at least 14 days.
