The Belo Horizonte City Council (PBH) published in the Official Gazette this Friday the decree establishing the places where 18 sanitary barriers will be installed (see below). The measure is adopted to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus in the capital of Minas Gerais and will be effective from next Monday (18).
According to the document, in these places, public agents can request the stop of vehicles and demand that drivers and passengers carry out a clinical follow-up, with temperature measurement. Whoever is identified with the alleged covid-19 will be guided and referred to the health units.
In cases of non-compliance, according to the PBH, the Military Police can be called and the offender will be subject to civil and criminal liability. Inspections will not be imposed on those who leave the city (only those who come to the municipality).
