The Federal District registered another death because COVID-19. A 92-year-old woman, who lives in Guar, died this Wednesday (05/13), due to complications from the disease. He had been admitted to the Hospital of origin since April 28.

He died in the Ceilndia Regional Hospital on Monday (11/5), the same day that he entered the health unit. However, death was only recorded this Wednesday (5/13). According to the secretariat, he had diabetes and metabolic disorders, comorbidities that worsened his condition.

Of the notifications, 192 people are currently hospitalized, with 100 patients undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) and 92 in the ward. However, 1,856 people are recovered covid-19, which represents the majority of those infected.

The prison system concentrates the largest number of confirmations of infection by the new coronavirus. According to the balance of the Department of Health, 468 inmates were contaminated.
