Coronavrus: DF registers 46 deaths and reaches 3,053 confirmed cases

OR federal District recorded the 46th death caused by the new coronavirus. The registry began to be accounted for by Health Secretary this Wednesday (5/13). In addition, the capital exceeded 3,000 confirmed cases of the disease and reached a total of 3,053 infected.

The new victim of the coronavirus was a mooring of Ceilndia 72 years old. The man died in the Ceilndia Regional Hospital (HRC) Monday (5/11), the same day that he entered the health unit. According to the Department of Health, he had diabetes and metabolic disorders, comorbidities that aggravate covid-19.

Of those diagnosed, 191 are hospitalized. Of these, 87 are in Intensive care units (ICU) and 104, in rooms. The rest, 822 people, remain isolated in their home. In total, 1,534 patients recover from COVID-19.

With 932 cases, the majority of those infected are between 30 and 39 years old. In addition, 394 people diagnosed with the disease are over 60 years old and at risk.

This Tuesday (5/12), the Health Department recorded two more deaths. One of the victims was an 80-year-old woman, a resident of Riacho Fundo 2. She was admitted to the Asa Norte Regional Hospital (Hran) since Saturday (9/5) and died on this land. He had comorbidities, such as hypertension, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease.

The other person who lost his life due to covid-19 is an 89-year-old Planaltina resident. She died at home on Sunday (5/10). She had no comorbidities, but was considered a risk group due to age.
