A 16-year-old girl died on Monday (7) of a COVID-19, in Marilândia do Sul, in the north of Parana. She had tested positive for the disease in November, according to the family. Information is from G1.
According to the mother of Giovana Campiotto, Terezinha Campiotto, the daughter had already passed the isolation period, but was still in treatment due to the consequences left by the disease. He had a rapid deterioration in the left state and ended up dying.
Giovana’s entire family tested positive for Covid-19, according to Terezinha, who says her daughter went to seek medical attention multiple times but never had to be hospitalized.
On Monday night, at her home, the young woman began to feel ill and was transferred to an Emergency Unit (UPA), but died shortly after.
“Very quickly it had a momentary deterioration, without time. This disease is very treacherous. It is needed very quickly, ”said Terezinha.
At 16, Giovana was still in high school and her mother says she had a dream of studying law and becoming a federal police officer.
“It was his dream to try this race. Since she was a child, she was the center of her life. She was studious, full of dreams. She was an exemplary granddaughter, loved by the whole family. It was incredible, “says Terezinha.
The body of the young woman was buried on Tuesday (8). On social media, friends and family paid tribute to Giovana.
