Montu Mia, 50, the son of the late Jalal Uddin from the Dakshin Saudagar Para area in Upazila, is known to have suffered a physical disability since birth. Nur Jamal Munshi took over through Abdur Rob Ghazi from the same area with the temptation to give more than one lakh of rupees from business begging in the last 10 years. But Montu wasn’t getting the real money back when it came to earnings.
Nur Jamal continues to turn to Montu to give today and tomorrow. In the last year and a half, the locals have been unable to get their money back. The beggar went to the police station to collect the last of his savings and filed a complaint with the CO.
OC said without filing a complaint. Kamruzzaman Mia went to the home of the scammer Nur Jamal Munshi. As the fraud charge proved, in the OC ultimatum, the scammers delivered a lakh of rupees delivered by Montu to the police station on Sunday afternoon. Later, the OC brought Montu Mia with the news and handed over the money he had saved.
Montu Mia told reporters that life has been through many difficulties since she was born. I have nothing to say on earth. As I am disabled, my main occupation is begging. I am the only source of income for my family. I saved this money for my own treatment without eating in the midst of a thousand difficulties. Nurjamal Munshi has scammed the money of many people in the area. I am also a victim of that deception. When I later filed a complaint with the police station, the CO got my money back within two days.
OC said. Kamruzzaman Mia said the matter was taken seriously when Montu Mia, with physical disabilities, filed a complaint with the police. In two days I was able to collect the money from the beggar Montu and give it to him.
