PAOK denounces Olympiakos and Marinakis in UEFA | Super League 1

At the suggestion of the Panagiota Spanou, Vangelis Marinakis is said to have participated in the manipulation of six games, so it was proposed that he be banned from football for life and the degradation of Olympiacos.

Pending the trial of the case by the Judicial Department of the Ethics Committee, chaired by Ms. Ioannidis (last March she decided to demote OFI and Aeginiakos) and the announcement of the decision, as reported by the newspaper “Forza”, PAOK is preparing to report the reds and whites to UEFA

In Toumba, they are briefed on the case, the details of the Panagiota Spanou report are now known, and they are preparing to proceed to the next step, informing UEFA of the charges against Olympiacos and its owner.

Things in this area are now easier than when Greek football has a monitoring committee and UEFA and FIFA have easier access to information.

In any case, PAOK will fulfill its duty by informing the European confederation, from which it will wait to do the right thing.

It is recalled that in other cases in the past, such as Fenerbahce, UEFA has excluded teams from European competitions, only by referring its officials to demands for manipulating matches.

Both PAOK and other teams, such as Panathinaikos, have an interest in following the case, based on the results with the teams, which according to Spanos’ conclusion, were in the Olympic car and “faithfully fulfilled the wishes of their owner.” In fact, the difference with which they lost the championships arose!

COMPLAINT AND ECA

In addition to its complaint to UEFA, PAOK will denounce Olympiakos and Vangelis Marinakis and the ECA (European Club Association), the European club federation based in Nyon and a UEFA interlocutor.

Lina Souloukou also sits on the ECA board of directors, but Marinakis’ colleague in Toumba believes she will not inform the club federation.

It is recalled that after a similar complaint, after the PAOK – AEK game with the well-known photo of Ivan Savvidis, PAOK was expelled for 6 months by ECA (returned in September 2018).
