The most recent government decisions on measures to deal with the pandemic: what to expect for boat trips to the islands were published in the Government Gazette.

The Government Gazette states in detail:
From 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day throughout the country, the movement of citizens is allowed to attend to their vital, personal or professional needs that cannot be met in any other way and that are specifically allowed for the following restrictive reasons:
a) Movement to and from work or during work.
b) Transfer to and from the school / institution / exam center, provided it operates in accordance with the provisions herein.
c) Traveling for health reasons (going to a pharmacy, visiting a doctor, veterinarian or going to a hospital or health center, if this is recommended after the corresponding communication).
d) Transfer to a store / business in operation, in accordance with the specific provisions of this and only within the limits of the corresponding Municipality or at a distance.

e) for a one-time transfer of a student from the place of permanent residence to the regional unit where the Department / School of Health Sciences of the IES, the School of Officers or the Police School of the Hellenic Police or the Insignia School of the Police or Probationary School of Port Guards of the Coast Guard – Hellenic Coast Guard for study purposes, according to the circumstance (p) of par.
