Predrag Djordjevic was born in Kragujevac 47 years ago. The player who came to Greece in 1993 to earn a prominent place in the history book of Greek football.
Being a champion with the Red Star, but with the beginning of the war, he had to leave his country. And he left.
After passing through Belgrade and for a short time from Subotissa, he arrived in Pyrgos, with the lie that the team plays in the B and not in the 3rd National Division.
He remained in Paniliakos until the summer of 1996, since then another stop occurred to him, Olympiacos. An attitude that lasted 13 years.
The “reds and whites” made it theirs that summer by taking a pack from Ilia and Stelios Giankaopoulos’ team.
To do that, however, AEK’s hurdle had to be overcome. Stavropoulos, then president of Paniliakos, had met them with Trohanas. However, the player had given his word to Olympiakos. In the end, what counted was his wish and, of course, Kokkalis’s move to show how much he loved him.
In addition to these two, Dusan Bajevic “built” an incredible team that would sweep everything in its path.
He remained in the port until 2009, where his career ended. In 13 years, “Jole” has won 12 championships, five Cups and one Super Cup.
He is the first foreign player of Olympiacos in duration, while in total he has 3rd participations (344), since in front of him are Karataidis and Giannis Gaitatzis, while with 126 goals he is the fourth scorer in the history of the team (Sideris, Anastopoulos and Alexandris get over it.)
In addition to goals and distinctions, Jole earned the love of the world, a place always on the minds of everyone who watched them play. To achieve this, of course, he had to work hard, prove himself on the field, and, of course, turn a blind eye to … mermaids abroad, where he was occasionally called teams like … Manchester United and Juventus
