Sales soared
Unprecedented prices for heating fuel, even at 0.679 euros per liter in Attica or 0.65 in Pieria, have pushed thousands of households to ask for quantities, to fill their homes’ tanks for next winter.
According to oil company executives, sales have more than doubled in recent days compared to the same period last year, while consumers who have had years of using heaters to heat them have also appeared.
Sales increased even 120% while in northern Greece and on the islands the demand in several cases not satisfied
The national average fuel price is 0,772 euros per liter and it’s lower 28% compared to last year.
The turmoil in international markets has benefited households, as it has led to a sharp drop in heating fuel prices, so its supply is Rare opportunity.
