Finance Minister Christos Staikouras announced the 3.3 billion euro support measures for companies and employees, which the government is carrying out after the decision of a national shutdown due to the coronavirus.

First Employees of companies-employers, throughout the territory, who are affected according to the expanded list of KAD April, can be placed in Suspension of the employment contract.
Therefore, they are beneficiaries special purpose compensation, in proportion to the suspension time.
For the previous period, all insurance contributions, calculated on the nominal salary, are covered proportionally by the State Budget.
The cost of the measure is estimated, based on new data, at 675 million euros, only for the month of November.
Today, in addition to extending the measure, we are announcing an additional policy option for the economic support of employees, facing the holidays:
Employees of companies until yesterday, November 4, 2020, who are suspended during the month of November, will receive, within December, instead of 534 euros, 800 euros, calculated proportionally for the days suspended.
This one-time financial aid for employees is in addition to covering the Christmas gift., as already announced and will be implemented.
The cost is estimated at 215 million euros.
2nd For companies whose operation is suspended by order of a public authority, which now includes retail and other activities, possibility of suspension of VAT payment, payable in November, until April 30, 2021.
This debt will be amortized in 12 installments with a zero interest rate, or in 24 installments with an interest rate of 2.5%, starting in May 2021.
The cost is estimated at 230 million euros.
Third by business suspended by order of a public authority, which now includes retail and other activities, possibility of suspension of payment of regulated tax quotas and insurance debts, payable in November.
Its amortization is postponed in the corresponding periods, at the end of the current regulations.
The cost is estimated at 66 million euros.
It is recalled that the regulations that we have recently voted in Parliament and covers the previous months apply to all the companies affected.
4ον. by employees whose employment contract is suspended, throughout the territory, it is possible suspension of payment of regulated tax debt installments, payable in November.
Its amortization is postponed in the corresponding periods, at the end of the current regulations.
The cost is estimated at 27 million euros.
5ον. The suspension of bank loan installments continues, based on KAD April’s expanded list, in consultation with the Hellenic Banking Association, before the end of the year.
Sixth Εall unemployment benefits are extended that expired and expires in September, October, November and December, for 2 months.

7ον. A new one-off financial aid is granted, amounting to 400 euros, to the unsubsidized long-term unemployed, in proportion to April aid.

8ον. All companies that are affected according to the expanded list of KAD April, now in the whole territory, are entitled to a mandatory 40% rent reduction on their commercial properties.

Also, as of November, for them owners who rent real estate, half of their loss will not be offset against their tax obligations, as provided to date, but will be paid directly to the beneficiaries, and will be credited directly to your bank accounts.

9ον. The list of companies that are entitled to participate in the Refundable Advance 4 is expanded.
Businesses that are closed by state order have the right to participate in the financial scheme, regardless of their turnover, while they receive a minimum of 2,000 euros.
It should be noted that everything that has been announced on Saturday applies, both with regard to the non-refund of 50% of the aid, as well as the right of participation of all individual companies, as well as new companies.
The cost of the improved Refundable Advance 4 is estimated at € 1 billion.
And the Refundable Advance of 5 to 700 million euros.
