PAOK letter to Avgenakis with notification to EPO, Super League and Tsiodra to fully insure Covid-19 soccer players and technical staff in the context of the restart!
In a letter, PAOK addressed Lefteris Avgenakis, submitting an official application for insurance and compensation for soccer players, technical staff and Covid-19 employees, asking those responsible to take immediate charge of the matter.
Given that the Vice Minister of Sports announced the gradual resumption of training, initially in small groups, in the context of continuing with this year’s championship, PAOK was in charge of establishing some data on Mr. Avgenakis’ health.
Specifically, through the letter, the leaders of PAOK request that those who will be exposed to a very serious risk of infection with the virus receive, with the care of the undersecretary, additional insurance that must include not only the coverage of any positive and negative damage, but also compensation for the imminent possibility of death of themselves or their families as a result of this infection, as well as their civil liability to third parties for the possibility of transmitting the virus to them.
According to Dikefalos officials, they will take all the measures taken by the Ministry, but the latter must assume responsibility for its decisions, covering additional insurance for athletes, technicians and employees, as well as civil liability against third parties.
