Georgiadis: Retail with rules
The Minister of Development and Investments, Adonis Georgiadis, said that at the beginning of the new year talks will be held with the Committee of Infectious Diseases for the opening of the retail trade. “If the image of the pandemic continues to decline, we will certainly relax some measures,” the minister said, but did not specify if this will happen from January 8.
Mr. Georgiadis stressed that the Ministry of Development has a plan that is being developed and, according to him, with the data of the pandemic and with the consent of the commission, will present its proposal. Speaking to SKAI, he said that if all goes according to plan, “we will proceed with a partial retail operation,” adding that “there will definitely be rules.”
