The following categories are defined as beneficiary units:

  • Women who are housed in Shelters for Women Victims of Violence and do not have access to housing.
  • People who are housed in Temporary Accommodation Shelters of Social Rehabilitation Units of Certified Therapeutic Programs of People Dependent on Law 4139/2013 (AD 74) and do not have access to housing.

The program includes three pillars:

  • Rental subsidy for a period of 24 months, in addition to covering household expenses and other operational needs of the home.
  • Provision of psychosocial support services and interconnection with complementary social services and benefits.
  • Activation, training and job promotion services, which may include, but are not limited to, employment subsidy, non-salary costs, business start-up subsidy, vocational training and skills acquisition, qualification for community service work, and employment counseling by the Employment Agency. The concept of homelessness is also redefined as a beneficiary unit of the Guaranteed Minimum Income. In particular, the beneficiaries of the program can be homeless people: people who live on the street or in inadequate accommodation, provided they have been registered by the social services of the municipalities or Community Centers or use dormitories, temporary shelters and shelters for women victims. violence, operating in the municipalities.
