The NBA is seriously considering allowing teams to begin group training on May 8.
The NBA is taking a step closer to restarting as the League is expected to approve teams to begin training at its facilities, as long as they are in areas where the virus has been fought and cases have significantly decreased.
Otherwise, the NBA in cooperation with the teams will look for alternatives, while the League announcement emphasizes four more measures that must be strictly adhered to.
1) The presence of more than four athletes at the same time and anywhere within the facilities is prohibited.
2) A coach or assistant will not participate in training.
3) Team training is prohibited.
4) Players cannot use facilities that do not belong to their team, such as public stadiums and gyms.
