The Ministry of Digital Government confirms the identity of the user who enters the electronic services of the Unified Digital Portal of the Public Administration if the user has been identified through the codes / credentials of G.G.P.S.D.D. either through credits / credentials from credit institutions.
As defined by the decision, gov.gr users will soon be able to access its services, after previously verifying / confirming their identity (authentication) using credentials or the General Secretariat for Information Systems of the Ministry of Public Administration. The user’s credentials in the electronic banking systems (e-banking) of credit institutions are not disclosed to the Ministry of Digital Government.
Credit institutions do not transmit any personal data through the user authentication process by the Ministry of Digital Government. Finally, it is pointed out that in no case do credit institutions know the content of the responsible electronic declaration and electronic authorization and, in general, the service of the Single Digital Portal of the Public Administration, which the user uses after authentication.
