Finance Minister Christos Staikouras described the four characteristics of the new scheme for protecting the first house from auctions to be announced within a week, speaking on ANT1 TV. * Today, 800 euros will be awarded to 105,853 citizens suspended from work.
* On Thursday, 600 euros will be paid to 150,000 scientists and another 200 will be delivered to the scientists who had gone for 400 euros.
* Until Friday, the platform opens and closes at the Ministry of Labor so that both independent workers and scientists who had not declared in the first phase can declare.
* Next week, employees of special categories like actors, guides, builders, etc. are paid.
* The freelance platform closes tomorrow and “we are trying to lend about 600 euros to our 600,000 compatriots”, although it is not ruled out that the payment will be made next Monday.
Criticism in the EU
The total package of measures will amount to 24 billion euros, the Ministry of Finance reiterated, explaining that it summarizes fiscal measures and liquidity measures.
