Berlin: Arafat Abou-Chaker comes to court without a mask, and ends with it – Berlin

Berlin – Continuation of the court case against Arafat Abou-Chaker (44) and his three brothers! Will the process be suspended today or even stopped altogether? But first another question arose briefly: that of whether the clan chief can even enter the courthouse.

He had no protection for his mouth and nose. This is mandatory in the administrative buildings and offices of Berlin from Saturday. The new rule comes into play in hallways, on the paths between workplaces or in the elevator if minimum distances cannot be respected, but not when working at a desk.

The clan chief is said to have referred to a certificate that the BILD reporter did not show to security personnel. Supposedly because he doesn’t have it with him.

Still: the clan chief passed. After all, he was invited. If they threaten him with a fine, it is not clear.

Is the process to burst?

One point of today’s negotiation will be the assault on the clan chief. Among other things, his villa in Kleinmachnow was searched. With reference to this raid, his defense attorneys had requested the day before the hearing that the process be suspended or completely halted.

Reason: Arafat’s trial transcripts were confiscated during the raid on his villa. Reason enough to bring down the case, it foamed the defenders, regardless of the secrets it may contain.

The court has not yet decided how to address the defense claim. Today we want to address questions about the recent search.

It’s about this

The prosecution accuses the head of the clan of crimes to the detriment of rapper Bushido (42). Arafat Abou-Chaker’s three brothers are accused of being accomplices or accomplices. According to the indictment, the crimes occurred after the rapper broke business relationships in 2017. Arafat Abou-Chaker did not want to accept this and asked Bushido to pay one million euros and participate in his music business for 15 years.

Bushido, 42 (his real name is Anis Ferchichi), is a joint plaintiff and a witness in the trial that has been held since mid-August. He is said to have been threatened, verbally abused, locked up and assaulted with a bottle of water and a chair in December 2017 and January 2018. Before that, Arafat Abou-Chaker and Bushido were considered partners in the music business for years .
