In many regions of Lower Saxony, stricter crown rules apply during Easter, especially at popular excursion destinations. On Saturday, the police were mostly busy on the coast.

Police make an “announcement” to campers

The mayor of Wunstorf, Rolf-Axel Eberhardt (CDU), points out the danger that otherwise too many tourists will arrive and that the ban on gathering during the Easter holidays will not be respected. Schaumburg district officials appeal to hikers to adhere to crown rules. This applies to the area around the Bückeberg. According to their own statements, the police in Celle and its surroundings are alert in public places. People sitting tight in the Dammaschwiesen should be avoided this Easter.
