At least ten people dead and another 20 buried left the collapse of a residential building in Bhiwandi, a city near Bombay, in India.
As stated by a municipal authority to the AFP agency, “ten people died, we rescued 11 people. “
The relief services that work from dawn are made up of about 40 people, of which about 30 belong to the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
According to NDRF images, lrescuers have rescued several people from the rubble.
So far the origin of the collapse is unknown, but in India they are common during June and September due to monsoons where heavy rains weaken structures.
