  1. Intensify prevention campaigns given the lack of control of citizens and the loss of biosecurity measures.
  2. Declare the red alert in cities with a high incidence of infections and occupation not only of ICU beds, but of the entire hospital network.
  3. Implement a total confinement of the population for a period of 14 days in those populations that demonstrate the aforementioned profile, with the aim of reducing contagion and the impact on mortality in Atlántico, Antioquia, Bogotá and Valle del Cauca.
  4. Streamline the vaccination process, providing greater coverage to the population.
  5. Make known the institutions to which you can go to the population in case of a vital emergency.

In addition, they highlighted that local leaders have the support of the entire medical body of the country to overcome the crisis and avoid a hospital collapse or a greater impact on the number of lives lost as a result of the neglect of COVID-19.

And although they claim to understand the “need for economic reactivation”, they consider that it is not necessary to pay such a high cost in victims for it.
