With 403 infections and 3 deaths from Covid-19, Quindío begins week

Again, the department exceeds 400 infections by Covid-19 in the same day, a figure that could be the constant in the coming weeks, since it began the month in which the peak was forecast. Fortunately, the death toll is not that high.

According to the report of the Departmental Health Secretariat, there were 3 deaths in Armenia, of an 81-year-old woman and 2 men of 63 and 78 years of age. Regarding those infected for this November 2, the bulletin reveals that they are located: Armenia with 253, Calarcá with 53, Quimbaya with 26, La Tebaida with 19, Montenegro with 19, Circasia with 11, Salento with 9, Pijao with 6, Genoa with 5 and Filandia with 2.

With the records, the department reaches 11,437 confirmed cases, 7,830 recovered and 279 deaths due to the disease.

In the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, there are 9,935 infections in districts and departments such as Antioquia with 2,401, Bogotá with 1,408, Valle del Cauca with 802, Huila with 517, Tolima with 476, Quindío with 437, Santander with 416 , Caldas with 390, Meta with 376, Risaralda with 303, Cundinamarca with 299, Boyacá with 267, Norte de Santander with 220, César with 213, Cartagena with 202, Nariño with 184, Barranquilla with 134, Caquetá with 129, Casanare with 129 , Córdoba with 125, Cauca with 105, La Guajira with 83 and Santa Marta with 68.

155 deaths related to the pandemic were reported. With these figures, the country reaches 1,093,256 confirmed cases, 985,796 recovered and 31,670 deaths. In the world there are 46,597,299 confirmed, 31,177,747 recovered and 1,201,162 deceased.
