Twelve deaths from covid-19 in the Valley this Tuesday, six of them in Cali

The Ministry of Health reported 890 new cases of covid-19 in the Valley and raised the number of infections to 108,948, since the health emergency due to the coronavirus began in the region. In addition, on the last day there were twelve deaths from the disease, of which six correspond to Cali.

The other deaths associated with covid-19 correspond to the municipalities of Tuluá (2), Seville (2), Obando and Yumbo.

Regarding the national balance, the health portfolio indicated that there are 7,986 more positives identified and that in total there are now 1,324,792 people who have contracted the virus. Of that number, 67,120 are active.

There were 168 associated deaths throughout the national territory, so there are now 36,934 in total, while those recovered already add up to 1,217,647 patients.

Most new infections are distributed in Bogotá (1,914), Antioquia (1,487), Valle (890), Cundinamarca (378), Santander (345), Barranquilla (312), Tolima (274), Boyacá (267), Huila ( 255), Caldas (238), Cartagena (221), Norte de Santander (219), Santa Marta (161), Quindío (124), Risaralda (124) and Atlántico (107).

Below the hundred cases are Córdoba (91), Cesar (88), Nariño (74), Cauca (72), Meta (69), La Guajira (61), Sucre (47), Magdalena (28), Casanare ( 27), Caquetá (21), Bolívar (20), San Andrés (17), Guaviare (15), Putumayo (15), Chocó (10), Arauca (8), Vichada (4), Vaupés (2), and Guainia (1).
