The Sectional Secretariat of Health and Social Protection of Antioquia reported that there were 1,517 new registered cases of infected by Covid-19 in the department and the figure rises to 84,765.
Of them in Medellín there are (278), Itagüí (315), Bello (293), Segovia (99), Apartadó (54), Rionegro (54), Sabaneta (50), Envigado (47), Caldas (45), Carepa (41), Copacabana (30), Remedios (21), La Estrella (15), Puerto Berrío (14), Barbosa (14), Girardota (12), Chigorodó (11), El Bagre (11), Santa fe de Antioquia (10), Carmen de Viboral (8), Santa Rosa de Osos (8), La Pintada (7), El Santuario (7), Amagá (6), Marinilla (6), La Ceja (5), Turbo ( 5), Guarne (5), San Pedro de los Milagros (4), San Vicente (4), Liborina (4), El Peñol (4), Ituango (3), Vegachí (3), Valdivia (3), Uramita (2), Yarumal (2), Zaragoza (2), Venice (2), Andes (2), San Pedro de Urabá (1), San Jerónimo (1), San Luis (1), Garden (1), Tarazá (1), Sonsón (1), Cañasgordas (1), Nechí (1), Maceo (1), Necoclí (1) and Buriticá (1).
All these new infected have been previously identified, placed in isolation and under the corresponding epidemiological surveillance.
With these new cases, the number of infected people in Antioquia rises to 84,765. Of these, 40,819 are women and 43,946 are men.

Likewise, it indicates that there are (655) hospitalized patients: (321) in the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, and (334) in general hospitalization.
Regarding patients from other departments who are hospitalized, there are (12) people. From Chocó (1) are in ICU and (4) in general room, Córdoba (1) in ICU and (1) in general hospitalization, Santander (1) in general hospitalization, Cundinamarca (1) in ICU, Valle (1) in ICU, Magdalena (1) in general hospitalization and Sucre (1) in general hospitalization.
Regarding ICU beds, the department has 918 for COVID patients, of the latter there are 599 occupied, between confirmed and suspected patients. That is, the occupancy of COVID beds in the department is 65.25%.
