The Sectional Secretariat of Health of Antioquia reported 2,156 new cases of Covid-19 in the department for today, Saturday, January 2, and the number of infected rises to 265,864.

Regarding patients from other departments, there are (5) hospitalized people. From Chocó (4) they are in general hospitalization and from Quindío (1) in ICU.

Regarding the ICU beds in the department, among which are those destined for the care of patients with COVID19 and patients with other pathologies, Antioquia has a total of 1,250 beds. Of these there are, to date, 1,035 occupied as follows: 399 with COVID patients, 135 suspected of COVID and 501 not COVID. Thus, the occupancy of ICU beds in the department today is 82.80%.
