“We appreciate the provision of @DefensoryCol to facilitate rapprochement with the Indigenous Minga. Contrasts with statements by the Mayor of Bogotá. The attitude of the Ombudsman and mayors of other cities where the Minga passed through is exemplary “: @CommissionerPaz pic.twitter.com/V3dIaIAv4j

In addition, he insisted on the “need to establish a methodological route to address the concerns of the indigenous minga and divide the issues by areas of the public sector or the State, according to competence.”
Arango confirmed that “This minga is not vindictive. It is political, as its members have expressed. We thank them for their commitment to peaceful protest and we call to avoid any act of vandalism or road blockages “in the marches that will take place this week.
This Sunday afternoon, Camargo plans to meet with the spokesmen of the minga to establish the possibility of this dialogue that allows defining an agenda and specifying the issues to be discussed.
