A mansion near the sea and with its own hangar in the Brazilian resort of Mangaratiba, which was bought and adapted for the occasion, began to receive guests this Wednesday to the controversial New Year’s party that the soccer player Neymar promotes in the midst of the pandemic by COVID.

The Mayor’s Office of Mangaratiba, a paradisiacal tourist destination in the region known as Costa Verde, on the southern coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro, indicated this Wednesday that it was not officially notified about the event.
Mangaratiba maintains sanitary controls to avoid COVID-19 through barriers that prevent the arrival of tourists by land to certain points of the municipality and local residents can only move under strict compliance with previous controls of temperature measurement and verification of use of masks.
However, Neymar’s guests, as some inhabitants of the city told the press, circumvent the sanitary barriers imposed by the authorities and begin to arrive in private planes and helicopters.

The regional Civil Defense, for its part, indicated that it will notify the residential units, including the one that houses Neymar’s summer residence, about compliance with the regulations decreed for private celebrations, which require a maximum presence of 50% of the capacity and protocols of distancing and hygiene.
For the celebration of the party, Neymar bought a deactivated hangar of the Bom Jardim Rural Air Club adjacent to the rural residential unit, which was suitable for receiving the guests.
The event promotion agency Fábrica, designated as the party’s organizer, released a statement to give some details of the event it is organizing in Mangaratiba with 150 guests and all the required health protocols, but without citing the footballer in his press release.
At the party, which according to a column in the Rio de Janeiro newspaper O Globo would be for 500 guests and would cost four million reais (about $ 800,000), The participation of renowned singers such as Alexandre Pires, MC Kevinho and the group Jeito Moleque, among others, is expected.
