(CNN Spanish) – The police of the province of Buenos Aires carried out this Sunday a series of raids at the home and at the office of Diego Maradona’s personal doctor, Leopoldo Luque, at the request of the San Isidro Court of Guarantees, which is investigating the cause of the death and the last hours of life of the world soccer star.

As reported to CNN by two sources of the investigation, during the raids Diego Maradona’s medical history and documentation that the investigators believe is relevant to the cause were seized.

CNN tried to contact Leopoldo Luque, the doctor who operated on Maradona for subdural edema in the brain in the first days of November, and who so far has no formal charges in the case, to find out his opinion on the raids, but has not got answer.

The investigation that prosecutor John Broyard is carrying out is labeled as wrongful death.

Due to this same investigation, on Saturday three of Diego Maradona’s daughters, Dalma, Gianina and Jana testified in court, two sources consulted informed CNN.

Diego Maradona died on Wednesday, November 25, in a house in the town of Tigre while recovering from an operation on his head.
