The authorities offered up to $ 15 million in reward for information that allows finding those responsible for the death of a baby in the Aguaclara district, Tuluá, Valle del Cauca.

The minor, approximately three months old, identified as Samara Alexandra García, died on Tuesday night, after being hit by a stray bullet, in the middle of a hitman attack.

Samara was injured when two armed men, riding a motorcycle, opened fire on her father, a man of foreign nationality, who was seriously injured by the shots.

The minor managed to be transferred to a health center where her death occurred.

Camilo Murcia, secretary of Coexistence and Citizen Security of Valle del Cauca, explained that the Government Secretariat of the Mayor’s Office of Tuluá had the money to capture “these violent men.”

The official also regretted the events and pointed out that “the authorities have activated different mechanisms to find those responsible.”
