They confirm 393 new cases and 11 deaths from covid-19 in the Valley this Sunday

393 positive cases and 11 new deaths from covid-19 in Valle del Cauca were confirmed this Sunday by the Ministry of Health.

The deaths were registered in Cali (9), Palmira (1) and Buenaventura (1), which bring the general figure to 2013 fatalities in the department.

With regard to those infected, 53,426 cases have been recorded in the region since the start of the pandemic.

At the national level, the highest health authority reported 7,355 infected people, which makes the country reach 716,319 positive cases, of these, 92,498 are active.

Regarding the new deaths, Minsalud reported 190 deaths, of which 167 are from previous days. Thus, the nation reached the figure of 22,924 fatalities from diseases related to this virus.

In addition, the epidemiological bulletin highlights that 599,385 people recovered and that this Sunday 26,530 PCR tests and 4,610 antigens were processed.

It should be remembered that according to the WHO figures, the world already registers 28,802,775 people infected with the new coronavirus, of these 920,931 have died.
