The virtual sessions of Congress have given for all kinds of situations that have drawn attention, but few events have caused as much controversy as what happened this Monday in the Third Committee of the House.
The event happened when the Secretary of the Commission, Elizabeth, Martínez made the call to the list. For transparency, the congressmen when they answer the call must turn on the camera so that they can be seen and certified their presence in the session.
When making the call to the representative Carlos Mario Farelo Daza, the secretary of the commission evidenced that the congressman had the camera turned off, so he proceeded to request him to turn on the Chamber.

To which the legislator replied: “I have it … I don’t know. Shall I give him a little kiss to see if he sees me?”
The visibly uncomfortable secretary replied, “I don’t know, doctor. That is not legal.” And continued with the call to list.
