Shakira celebrates Joe Biden’s victory as president of the United States

The Barranquilla singer, Shakira, took to her social networks to celebrate the victory of Joe Biden as president-elect of the United States. The Democrat managed to exceed the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the race against Donald Trump.

“Celebrating with my children this new phase of unity and healing that begins now with Biden as the new president-elect.”, wrote on ‘Twitter’ the interpreter of ‘Anthology’.

He later added, “The world is in the hands of someone courteous and compassionate. Now is the time to clean up the environment, provide quality education and health services for all. We all have to do our part, but the foundation is in place. Now a little dance with my children to celebrate! ”

For his part, Joe Biden also expressed on Twitter some words of joy for his victory. “America, I am honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country. The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a president for all Americans, whether they vote for me or not. I will keep the faith they have placed in me. ”
