The president assured that “where the water comes there is health. It is the main tool to protect children from communicable diseases. We are allowing many families to have clean water, sanitation and improve their quality of life.”
“Let us realize that we are living a pandemic that affects the whole world. It is a natural disaster, more than 1,140,000 people have died in the world, more than 30 thousand Colombians have died from COVID-19. These are not times for pettiness, These are moments to raise the greatness of public policies. The coronavirus is so lethal with life and jobs. Reactivation must unite us, it is only achieved with citizen discipline. There are changes in habits, “he added.
Duque asked citizens to understand that this situation must be faced with responsibility and common sense. “The increases in cases are related to the places where agglomerations have been registered in recent days.”
In addition, the President highlighted the improvement in the recovery of employment and asked the leaders to do so more quickly, through strategies to activate national trade. “Let’s have a Christmas with a safe reactivation. Suddenly we will not be too big in a group, but we will be united.”
