In the middle of the speech that President Iván Duque presents to citizens on weekends, the president referred this Sunday to the alleged irregular use of resources and intelligence equipment that would have ended in profiling and monitoring politicians, retired military personnel, journalists nationals and foreigners and even government officials.
“Freedom of the press is a democratic value … I categorically and categorically reject any action that goes against that freedom,” said the president in the first instance.
According to the governor, his policy is zero tolerance with any member of the security forces that goes against that right.
