After several months without pick and plate in Bogotá, the mayor’s office revealed its proposal for avoid the collapse of mobility in the city after the return of various activities and that could be applied in the coming weeks.
The restriction would be Monday to Saturday from 06:00 to 08:30 in the morning and from 4:00 in the afternoon to 7:30 at night, according to odd and even plates.

“We cut an hour in the afternoon period to not be so restrictive with mobility and we consider Saturdays to take into account this concentration of activities on weekends,” explained the Ministry of Mobility.
“We are analyzing the impacts on public transport, the impacts on all modes and facilities and control in pedagogical implementation. It will be a five-digit restriction, odd and even, from Monday to Saturday”said Secretary Nicolás Estupiñán.
This was the proposal that they made to Mayor Claudia López so that it can be analyzed and discussed with the public, so there is still no clear date of when the measure would begin.
The draft decree also proposes new exceptions to health personnel vehicles, shared vehicles with a minimum occupancy of three people including the driver, and a solidarity peak and plate.

The draft decree is expected to be published by the Ministry of Mobility this evening for consultation with citizens.
