The peak and ID in Cali for Saturday, April 3, restricts entry to establishments to citizens with identity documents ending in an even number.

In other words, those with ID cards ending in an odd digit (1, 3, 5, 7 and 9) are allowed to carry out different procedures.

The measure was established in decree 4112.010.20.0155, issued by Mayor Jorge Iván Ospina.

The bill and ID is necessary, according to the document, “to enter any commercial establishment, with the exception of restaurants and hotels and / or similar.”

The restriction seeks to “guarantee responsible individual distancing and avoid agglomerations” that promote the spread of covid-19.

The decree states that the bill and cedula, which came into effect again on March 25, will run until April 5.

Cali registers 147,392 cases of covid-19 and 4,128 deaths due to the disease since the arrival of the pandemic to the country, in March 2020, according to the Departmental Secretariat of Health.
