To guarantee the right to life, health, in connection with life and survival in the context of the health emergency due to COVID-19, physical activities and outdoor exercises in urban and rural areas of Santa Marta are authorized as of May 4, 2020, between 6:00 and 7:00 in the morning, as contemplated in article 3 number 37 of Decree 593 of 2020, April 27, current year.

To guarantee a good development of the measure, the Institute for Recreation and Sport, INRED, has a logistical, operational and human plan that aims to guide citizens and guarantee their safety and well-being.

MEASURES TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT

People who voluntarily go to physical activities and outdoor exercises will do so at their own risk and must always comply with the provisions of social distancing and the following protocol:

-Physical activities and outdoor exercises can only be done recreationally individually, not high performance.

-It can be done by people between 18 and 60 years old.

-Only people will be allowed to practice sports according to the peak and ID established by the Mayor of Santa Marta. On Saturdays and Sundays you will not be able to do physical activity outdoors.

-The activities of walking, jogging, running, cycling and any type of individual physical activity outdoors are allowed, for a period not exceeding one hour per person.

-It will be possible to carry out physical activity and individual exercise outdoors only within a radius of one kilometer from the place of residence.

-The individual physical activity outdoors will be carried out maintaining a minimum distance of 2 meters between each person, the proper use of personal protection elements such as face masks and a sanitary kit that contains at least alcohol is mandatory.

-In all cases, they must abide by the biosafety measures contemplated by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and by the District Administration to mitigate, control and carry out the adequate management of the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.

-The hydration will be personal and individual. The practice of physical activity and exercise in the open air can only be carried out by the two people per family nucleus, provided they comply with the provisions of the peak and identification system.

-You will not be able to carry out physical activities with group participation.

-The use of recreational sports parks, bio-healthy parks, playgrounds, the Ziruma pedestrian path, courts, or any sports arena will not be allowed.

-The gyms and sports training schools will remain closed.

-It is expressly prohibited to carry out physical activities and exercise outdoors for people over 60 years of age and those with pathologies or chronic diseases, hypertension, lung, kidney, thyroid disease, obesity, diabetes, heart problems and other chronic diseases. Also who present symptoms of fever, tiredness, dry cough, shortness of breath, aches and pains, runny nose, runny nose, sore throat and diarrhea.

-While doing physical activity, you cannot take out pets or animals except for the person who needs the pet or animal for their mobility with the respective collar that guarantees their control.
